Weeks of Computer Problems with an Absence from Blogs

My old computer has been dying slowly over the past few weeks and although I tried hard to revive it, it eventually gave up altogether. So I went computer shopping, bought a new one, set it up etc etc. All this means that late July's blog post is still unposted (the photos wouldn't load) and I haven't been able to follow other blogs. It's been frustrating, to say the least.

But now I'm looking forward to catching up soon. In the meantime, as it happens to be World Honey Bee Day, here is a photo of one of these wonderful little creatures on some fleabane, out now of course and loved by bees, butterflies and moths x

  4. So sorry to hear about your computer woes Wendy - Have so missed your posts. Beautiful photo of the bee. I may be off on a bee walk this afternoon with Steven Falk to see what species can be spotted again at some local Gardens. The last event was brilliant :)

Thanks for your reply to my comment on beekeeping. To me it seems to have been a poor year for butterflies certainly in the garden and also when out and about (apart from recent visit to a HLS farm where we saw loads!).

  5. It is lovely to see you back again Wendy and sorry to learn that you have been dogged with computer problems - I hope that you are happy with the new one and that it serves you well for many years to come.
Lovely bee photo - I saw a bumble bee yesterday - it was a giant, I have never seen such a large one before. It only had three stripes very far apart and in shades of buff to bright yellow. We could not understand why it kept hanging around us but then sadly noticed that it had a wing missing. We moved it somewhere safe in the hopes that it would be alright.

  6. My computer is doing something similar and just cranking along. A snail pace internet connection adds to the frustration. Welcome back to blogging!

  10. It takes time to set up a new computer as I found out when my old one was put to rest, but hubby bought me a new mac for my 60th birthday this winter and I love it...Michelle
